Fexofenadine is used to treat allergy symptoms: runny nose sneezing red, itchy, or watering eyes itching of the nose or throat It is also used to treat itching and redness caused by hives. Fexofenadine is in a class of medications called antihistamines. It works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergy symptoms.
